Seeing apt-get changelogs for to-be-upgraded packages

sudo apt-get install apt-listchanges

sudo dpkg-reconfigure apt-listchanges

The setup file created is /etc/apt/listchanges.conf. 

[apt]
frontend=text
email_address=root
confirm=1
save_seen=/var/lib/apt/listchanges.db
which=changelogs  

sudo apt-get upgrade → After Y should check the changelogs.

 Trick edit visudo -f /etc/sudoers

Common Errors Chef

Your system clock has drifted from the actual time by more than 15 minutes. This can be fixed by syncing your clock with an NTP server. You'll need to rerun chef-client after synching NTP.
